Is everything linked?

Recently watched the movie Dasavatharam. The major view of the film is the 10 different roles played by the acting legend Kamal Hasan. He was so perfect in it that the body language of all the 10 characters were independent and match the respective character. But the main thing I felt from the movie is the theme, the theme which made me realise something which might indeed be true. The thing is the "Chaos Theory", which stated that everything in this world is related and is caused for some purpose. He explains this with the Tsunami example. Though it just seems to be a simple idea or a simple case, I feel there is something we need to think about in that issue.

There are a lot of catastrophes occuring in the world, like earthquake,volcanoes,tornados,etc. But what is the reason for they to occur? Why shouldn't the world be free from such catastrophes? These questions have been treatening more often in the recent times. There are answers to all the questions. But we only dont know the way to find them. May be this concept of interlinking between all those happening in the world has something to do with finding the truth. The future can only be experienced but cannot be seen or predicted. May be it can be felt to some extent.
