According to the theory of Inheritence, everyone inherits some properties from their predessesors. Thus there is always a tree representing a family. A child or a person inherits features from parents, even though some times it looks like he has the features of only one parent.
This theory has been one of the great discoveries. It can even link us to our great great grand fathers. DNA is one such component or a feature which is inherited from the parents through which we can discover all our blood relations(family members). Through ages families have divided and subdivided and now it might be a case that the person next to us has a blood relation with us. This theory of inheritence might help us in finding it, it can help to unlock a lot of secrets in the past.
